In his speech, Li Shousheng, President of the CPCIF, pointed out that China’s economy has entered a new stage of high-quality development centered on sustainable development. As a foundational industry supporting the real economy, the green and low-carbon transformation of the chemical industry has become an industry consensus and inevitable trend. As an outstanding representative of Chinese local enterprises, LUXI Chemical’s pioneering accession to TfS, a world-class sustainable supply chain initiative, will not only help the company benchmark against international advanced standards and enhance its global market competitiveness, but also play a leading role in driving coordinated carbon reduction across the domestic upstream and downstream industrial chains. It carries important demonstrative significance for the sustainable development of China’s entire chemical industry.

As the first Chinese enterprise to join the TfS initiative, LUXI Chemical has always integrated sustainable development into the entire chain of its corporate strategy. In recent years, the company has continued to invest in R&D of bio-based materials, energy conservation and emission reduction in production, and the development of a circular economy system, and has established a green management system covering the entire life cycle of product R&D, manufacturing, logistics and application. Following its accession to TfS, LUXI Chemical will fully align with the unified global sustainability assessment and audit system, continue to deepen its corporate social responsibility practices, and enhance its service capabilities for global supply chains.
