Product Details
Calcium pantothenate, also known as calcium D-pantothenate or the calcium salt of pantothenic acid, is a commonly used form of pantothenic acid, an essential vitamin naturally found in a variety of foods. It is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) for its intended uses in the United States and is also permitted for use in Europe under applicable regulations. Under U.S. FDA requirements, prepared infant formula must provide at least 300 micrograms (mcg) of pantothenic acid per 100 calories, reflecting its importance as an essential nutrient.
