Products Description of Thiabendazole CAS#148-79-8
Thiabendazole (commonly known by trade names such as Teketol) is a highly effective, broad-spectrum systemic fungicide used internationally. Upon uptake, it migrates acropetally toward plant apices (upward movement) without translocating downward toward the base. It offers long-term protective coverage and exhibits cross-resistance with other benzimidazole-class fungicides.
Its broad-spectrum efficacy spans Ascomycota, Basidiomycota, and Deuteromycota fungi. Consequently, thiabendazole is widely deployed to safeguard field crops against active fungal infections and protect harvested fruits and vegetables against storage decay.

Product Application of Thiabendazole CAS#148-79-8
As a long-lasting, upward-systemic fungicide with both preventive and curative properties, thiabendazole adapts well to diverse agricultural regimes:
Field & Foliar Disease Control: Effective against root rot and diverse foliar fungal diseases. Applied as a foliar spray at a typical dosage of 2.25–3.75 g active ingredient per hectare (g a.i./hm2).
Post-Harvest Fruit Preservation: Widely used to prevent post-harvest rot and storage diseases in citrus fruits, apples, pears, and bananas. Standard dip or spray treatments utilize aqueous solutions at concentrations ranging from 500–1000 mg/L to 700–1500 mg/L, depending on the target commodity.
