Diethylene Glycol Butyl Ether Acetate CAS#124-17-4
2-(2-Butoxyethoxy)ethyl acetate, commonly referred to as Butyldiglycol acetate, functions as a functional ingredient for fabricating poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) composite films. It reduces the minimum film-forming temperature (MFT) and optimizes film-forming properties.
This substance can also be incorporated into silver thick-film paste formulations. As an efficient additive, it facilitates the processing of high-performance materials.

Product Application of Diethylene Glycol Butyl Ether Acetate CAS#124-17-4
Esters are capable of undergoing reactions with acids, a process that releases heat and yields alcohols and acids as reaction products. When esters come into contact with strong oxidizing acids, violent reactions may take place; the heat generated from such reactions can reach levels that ignite the reaction products. Heat evolution can also occur when esters react with caustic solutions.
Furthermore, the reaction between esters and alkali metals or hydrides may produce hydrogen gas, which is flammable.
